Scients was a collaboration between The_Archimedeans, Physics_Society, BioSoc, | |
|
CUAS, SciSoc and BlueSci. SciEnts organised jointly run social events between | |
|
the Societies. | |

Scientific Societies are organising joint events still, but not under the | |
|
SciEnts branding. Please see the individual society websites for information on | |
|
events they are organising. | |

Garden Party | |
|
Saturday, 16th June 2007 | |
|
Our Garden party was sponsored by Accelrys and the East Anglia Branch of the | |
|
Institute of Physics. Despite the weather, Mathematicians and Scientists still | |
|
enjoyed Pimms, Strawberries and Cream, and a selection of other delicious foods | |
|
in the Peterhouse Deer Park and Music Room. Photos are available on the Physics | |
|

QinetiQ, Hitachi and dstl, in Peterhouse Deer Park, with plenty of Food, Drink | |
|
and "Champagne" available. The Physics Society have kindly made some photos of | |
|

"Deal or No Deal" Cocktail Evening | |
|
Friday, 17th February 2006 | |
|
Scients presented our own format of the popular show "Deal or no Deal" (which | |
|
is actually based on Quantum_Mechanics), with prizes instead of cash including | |
|
a Voucher for a takeaway, a slice of Fudge Kitchen Fudge, a Penny in your | |
|
cocktail and a Cabbage! | |
